Assistant/Associate Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology - Hematopathology
The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University is seeking a full-time hematopathologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and certification or eligibility in Hematopathology are requirements for this position, and subspecialty training in molecular pathology is preferred. Teaching and communication skills are essential.

The compensation range does not include the generous benefits program, and there is significant potential for additional incentive payments based on productivity and quality measures.
Minimum Degree Required: M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D.
Applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be able to obtain a NYS medical license.
Minimum Qualifications: Depending on the field of research and current needs for field and instructional coverage within the department, certain subspecialties may be preferred. Current research specialties: Cancer Biology, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology, Cell Motility, Cytoskeleton and Intracellular Trafficking, Virology, Neuronal Stem Cells, Precision Medicine, Clinical or Anatomic subspecialties.
Preferred Qualifications: Depending on the field of research and current needs for field and instructional coverage within the department, certain subspecialties may be preferred.

Hiring Salary Range: $270,000-$370,000
- Assistant Professor / Asst Professor at CUMC: $270,000-$325,000
- Associate Professor / Associate Professor at CUMC: $305,000-$370,000
