Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor, Computer Science

The College of Computing & Informatics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for two Assistant/Associate Teaching positions beginning Fall 2026. Applicants for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science (or a closely related field) with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success, demonstrated scholarly potential in CS education, and a dedication to professional development and university service. Prioritize for candidates who can teach courses in the new Online BA in Computer Science program and/or have experience in: Online instructions, course management and assessment and fostering student engagement and promoting multiple pathways to success in virtual learning environments. Both positions require on-campus presence and are not remote.

Preferred and Required Qualifications

Applicants for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science (or a closely related field) with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success, demonstrated scholarly potential in CS education, and a dedication to professional development and university service.
