"Assistant Baseball Coach - PT"

Assist with on-field coaching, assist with recruiting, assist with field maintenance, complete assigned administrative tasks, ensure compliance with NCAA, conference and college rules and regulations.

Position Duties:

1. On field coaching: Direct the on court and in classroom instruction of the position(s) required by head coach. Be willing to provide feedback for aspects on the field outside of main positional responsibilities.
2. Recruiting: Help staff with recruiting. Point person for hosting summer and fall tournaments at Wilson Field. Serve as point person in recruiting database management, written and phone communication with prospects and the coordination and assist with visits.
3. Administrative (budget, etc.): Work with head coach to order equipment, arrange lodging and meals for away contests.
4. Compliance: Ensure compliance by coaching staff, players, and recruits with NCAA, A10, and Davidson College athletics regulations, policies, and overall mission of amateurism.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred. On-field coaching responsibilities as directed by head coach. Demonstrate willingness and ability to evaluate high school athletes. Exhibit organizational and interpersonal skills to assist in the recruiting process.

Coaching Responsibilities: Work with a position group. Help with team offense and team defense. Assist with all aspects of team practice, planning and game day activities. Work with head coach to order equipment, arrange lodging and meals for away contests. Assist with other duties as assigned by head coach. Compliance: Ensure compliance with NCAA, A10, and Davidson College athletics regulations, policies, and overall mission of amateurism.
