Assistant Coach, Cross Country and Track & Field - Bellarmine University
The Assistant Track & Field Coach is responsible for assisting both programs in all aspects of administration and operation of a competitive Division I collegiate track and field and cross-country program. Duties include:
- Develop programs for and coordinate the recruitment and scholarship of student-athletes;
- Plan and conduct practice/competition activities for an NCAA Division I program;
- Manage student-athlete skill development and performance analysis;
- Monitor academic advisement and progress of student-athletes;
- Represent the university in any local, regional, or national meetings which pertain to men's and women's cross country and track and field;
- Abide by and comply with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Conference rules, academic standards, requirements, and policies of the Department of Athletics and University;
- Interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays the University, its programs, and its personnel;
- Promote a culture of inclusion, working effectively within a culture of individuals with diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations;
- Assist in the organization of sports information materials;
- Contribute to the overall success of the university's intercollegiate athletics program by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
- Work is performed in an indoor/outdoor environment.
