The University of Arizona's Athletics Department invites you to apply to the role of Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer. This is a fulltime, benefits eligible position whose function is to assist the head coach in all facets of coaching a Division I women's soccer program. Incumbent will perform on-field coaching, recruiting and liaison with department support services.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with facilitating the academic and athletic development of every soccer student-athlete.
• Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes within the guidelines of the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.
• Train non-travel team when not on travel status.
• Implement individual development plans (IDP's).
• Coaching student-athletes at all practices and games.
• Running split training sessions at home.
• Work cooperatively and provide positive energy as a member of the staff.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes.
• Coordinate and advance recruiting, alumni, and community relations.
• Perform video analysis and opponent scouting.
• Work closely with the compliance office to assure the program follows University, Big 12 Conference and NCAA regulations.
• Budget accountability.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Coaching experience at the college or club level.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in the sport.
• Coaching licenses (USSF, NSCAA, UEFA, FA).
• Practical experience in video analysis and Sportscode/Hudl.
