The College of Business and Analytics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking a full-time 9-month Assistant Lecturer (master’s degree holders) or Clinical Assistant Professor (doctoral degree holders) to teach in the residential and online undergraduate program beginning August 12, 2026. Applicants with expertise in all areas of Marketing will be considered, but preference will be given to those with experience in teaching Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, or Professional Selling. This is a term, non-tenure-track appointment that may be renewable for subsequent semesters contingent on performance, curricular need, and budget.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in marketing, MBA, or related field in business from an AASCB accredited college.
- Demonstrated teaching at the undergraduate level or field experience and expertise directly related to Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, or Professional Selling
- All applicants must provide evidence of high-quality instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in marketing or a related discipline from an AASCB accredited college, with specialized expertise in Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, International Marketing, or Professional Selling.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching Marketing at graduate-level.
- Demonstrated discipline-based expertise through scholarly activities, including but not limited to: publications, presentations, professional engagement, consulting, honors, awards, continuing education, etc.
