"Assistant or Associate Professor - Applied Measurement"

Call for Applications: Tenure-Track Full Time Position 2, Applied Measurement, School of Psychology – UC Chile. The Department of Psychology of the UC Chile has opened a competition for a tenure-track full-time position for an assistant or associate professor in educational psychology with research and teaching work shared with the Special Education Pedagogy Program. We are looking for an academic with a PhD to engage in research, teaching, and outreach in applied measurement within educational or developmental psychology. Candidates should have expertise in developing psychological assessment instruments, neuropsychological assessments, advanced psychometric analysis, and validation studies. Applicants must possess a strong quantitative background, including proficiency in structural equation modeling, item response theory, and longitudinal analysis. The selected candidate will dedicate 50% of their time to teaching, develop externally funded research, and supervise theses. Qualifications include fluency in Spanish and English, teaching experience, and availability starting January 2026.
