Position Description
The Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS) in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University invites applications and nominations for one tenure track Assistant Professor position. Duties include conducting and publishing scholarly research in peer reviewed journals; developing and teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in computer information systems; advising and mentoring students; and participating in service activities within the department, college, and university.
Required Experience
Applicants must demonstrate an established record of scholarship with strong momentum toward publication in premier scholarly journals in information systems, as well as in widely recognized premier journals in other business and related disciplines. Applicants must also possess research expertise in topics such as artificial intelligence and the future of work, digital labor markets, digital platforms, and information privacy.
Required Education
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in information systems or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited university program or an internationally recognized equivalent.
