The Department of Astronomy at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applicants for an Assistant Professorship. This position is open to all subfields of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Qualifications
Basic qualifications: A Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree), or enrollment in a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree-granting program at the time of application.
Preferred qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent international degree is preferred by the date of hire. We seek an outstanding scientist who has the potential for innovation and leadership in research, and commits to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
