Assistant Professor in Audiology
The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure stream position in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences with teaching responsibilities in Audiology.

Duties: Academic staff functions include, in varying proportions: teaching, scholarly activities such as research, academic service, and graduate student supervision.
Terms: Vacant tenure-track position
Wage: Salary scale for an assistant professor starts at $99,377 (as of May 1, 2025).

Skills and requirements:
- PhD or equivalent. Postdoctoral experience an asset.
- Excellent research track record in Audiology or in a related field.
- Recognized expertise in environmental noise or associated problems, or in amplification and technologies to limit the impact of hearing loss.
- Experience in graduate-level teaching and training, with a strong track record in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills in French, as Audiology courses are taught exclusively in French. Passive knowledge of English. Bilingualism in French-English will be an asset.
- Admissibility to the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), or another Canadian provincial regulatory body in the field of audiology.
