1. Department of Pediatrics

1.1. One (1) employee to the academic position of Assistant Professor in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, for an indefinite period, on a part-time basis of 20% of full-time working hours, at the Department of Pediatrics of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.

Candidates applying for the position of Assistant Professor are required to meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act ("Official Gazette" Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23), as well as the specific requirements prescribed by Article 39, paragraph 1 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act ("Official Gazette" No. 119/22), the requirements stipulated by the National University, Scientific and Artistic Criteria ("Official Gazette" No. 42/26), Article 123, paragraph 1 of the Statute of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, Article 58, paragraph 1 of the Statute of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, consolidated text, and Article 3 of the Rules on Additional Requirements for the Appointment of Teachers to Academic Positions and the Appointment of Honorary Teaching Staff of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, consolidated text.

Candidates applying for the academic position of Assistant Professor (item 1.1.) shall submit their applications using Application Form No. 1, published on the website www.mefos.unios.hr.

Selection process

All information concerning the course of the appointment procedure will be published on the website of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, www.mefos.unios.hr. Candidates who fail to attend the interview before the Selection Committee shall be deemed to have withdrawn their application and shall not be considered candidates in the selection procedure.

Candidates who are foreign nationals are required to provide proof of proficiency in the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), at the advanced C2 level.
