Qualifications

• Required: M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or equivalent)
• Certification: ABA (American Board of Anesthesiology) certified or candidate
• Licensure: Must be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license
• Preferred: Prior experience in liver transplant anesthesiology

Responsibilities

Teaching:

• Instruct and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in ORs and wards
• Participate in lectures, workshops, small groups, and simulation sessions

Clinical:

• Provide general and liver transplant anesthesia services at HUP and PPMC

Academic Clinician Track Focus:

• Clinical and teaching excellence
• Engage in activities promoting diversity, inclusion, and care equity
