Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in Grand Rapids, Michigan is currently accepting applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor position in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders to support the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program. Required Qualifications and Education:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in audiology or a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.); all-but-dissertation (ABD) candidates will be considered.
• Area of expertise is flexible ASHA certification in Audiology
• Evidence of effective teaching
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated record and/or potential for active scholarship
• Commitment to inclusion, equity, and diversity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical audiology and/or vestibular and balance background

Responsibilities - Essential Functions:

• Teach in the Doctor of Audiology program and undergraduate pre-professional academic program.
• Provide clinical supervision in on-campus clinic
• Develop a scholarly agenda that is consistent with unit and college expectations
• Advise/mentor students
• Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and the profession.

Salary: $102,000 and commensurate with experience
