Assistant Professor of Business Administration/Law
The incumbent would be expected to teach courses that would include, but are not limited to, Business Law required and elective courses. Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs. Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of the field. Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities. Contribute to student growth and development, including student advising. Provide service to the university and community, including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community. Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
Salary Range: $64,066 - $186,015; Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications: J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in business law courses or similar experience in teaching/training. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualification: Skills/ability to integrate technology to enhance learning and teaching. Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching. Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment. Evidence of scholarly activity in the form of publications and/or conference presentations at peer-reviewed business law journals or conferences. Relevant business law experience.
