General Requirements: Individual will teach 9 hours per long semester, engage in research, and support the college through service. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to publish in peer reviewed journals.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: The Department of Analytics, Information Systems, and Supply Chain is seeking applicants for a tenure track position in Business Analytics for Fall 2026.

Duties will include teaching, both face-to-face and on-line, undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics or related areas, conducting research and publishing in scholarly journals, and providing services to the department, college, university, and appropriate national organizations. We seek individuals who are excellent teachers that can bring experience-based credibility to the classroom while also advancing the research reputation of the department and the college. Preferred candidates should be qualified as Scholarly Academic (SA) under AACSB standards (as defined by SHSU's College of Business Administration) and will maintain that qualification.

Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): PhD in a business-related field or discipline preferred, but other highly qualified candidates will be considered. ABD will be considered with an expected graduation date by the end of Fall 2027.

Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in business analytics or related university-level courses is highly valued. Experience delivering instruction both in-person and online is preferred, and industry experience is considered a plus.
