POSITION TITLE:
Assistant Professor of Economics
POSITION DUTIES:
Teach financial economics classes and a combination of the following fields: microeconomics, behavioral finance, financial econometrics, public economics and policy. Teach three courses a semester, including the core courses in the major, electives, and general education courses for non-economics students.
Requires: Doctorate in Economics. Demonstrated teaching at the instructor level or above. Demonstrated understanding of a liberal arts education that includes a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, which provides students with critical thinking skills and a broader knowledge and understanding of the world. Ability to successfully teach and advise a diverse group of students. Ability to contribute to and sustain a diverse and inclusive environment through teaching, scholarship and service.
