Assistant Professor of Government (American Politics)
The Government Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position in American politics at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2026. The department seeks a specialist in American political institutions.
The teaching load for this position is four courses during the first year and five courses thereafter, including an introductory course in American politics and upper-level courses in the candidate's specialty. The expected salary range for this position is $92,100 to $97,900. The position requires institutional service, including academic advising of undergraduate students after the first year.
