Assistant Professor of Music

Brescia University, a Catholic liberal arts university in the Ursuline tradition is searching for an Assistant Professor of Music to begin January 2026. This position will teach undergraduate courses, provide some music service for the chapel, liturgies, and special events, oversee concert band and choir, and assist with the ongoing development of a pep band. Other routine faculty responsibilities will include coordination of the Music minor, academic advising, serving on university committees, participating in ongoing professional development, and serving the community.

Educational requirements include a Master’s degree in Music or a Master’s degree with a concentration in Music (minimum of 18 graduate semesters). A Ph.D. or other related terminal degree is preferred and required for the position to offer a tenure track.
