Radford University invites applications for a 9-month Assistant Professor faculty position in the College of Nursing Undergraduate Department at Radford’s main campus. Teaching responsibilities include in-person lecture, skill laboratory instruction, and clinical teaching in acute care settings for undergraduate students. Required Qualifications

Minimal qualifications are a doctorate in nursing; or a MSN with a doctoral degree in a related field. Candidates with significant progress toward the doctorate with a plan for completion may be considered but will be hired at the rank of Instructor. Recent clinical experience in field of expertise. Every member of the nursing faculty shall: • hold a current license or multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in Virginia as a registered nurse without any disciplinary action that currently restricts practice; and, • have had at least two (2) years of direct client care experience as a registered nurse prior to employment by the program.

Experience in education at the university level
