Job Summary
The Department of Art in the College of Arts & Sciences at Georgia College & State University seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor of Photography.
Responsibilities
Faculty - Teaching/Instructing -
- Full-time instructional load teaching in areas of expertise within the academic discipline
- Regular course meetings and instruction
- Mentoring students
- Other teaching responsibilities

Faculty - Professional Development -
Faculty are expected to conduct research and develop within the profession.
- Publications (editing, citations)
- Presentations at professional meetings
Faculty - Service to Institution -
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
A terminal degree (MFA) in Photography or a closely related field is required...
Required Experience
Demonstrated teaching experience at the post-secondary level
Proficiency in traditional and contemporary fine art photography practices, including:
o Analog and digital capture
o Darkroom processes
Preferred Qualifications
Proposed Salary
The salary range would start at a minimum of $60,000.00 to a maximum of $63,000.00.
