Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Teach four (4) classes each semester of undergraduate and/or graduate courses delivered online: (15-week, 7.5 weeks, or 5-week terms) and/or face-to-face at main campus based on departmental needs. This position also has a service expectation related to online course updates and maintenance.
Educational Requirements for the Position
The successful candidate must have a terminal degree, such as a J.D. or Ph.D., in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related academic field.
Experience Required for the Position
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience as a criminal justice professional and/or who have proficiency in teaching criminal justice courses (college or university). Additionally, preference will be given to those who possess on-line instructional experience.
Other Requirements for the Position
Successful candidate will receive a nine-month contract and a summer contract. Work may require evenings and weekend.
