Position Title: Assistant Professor of Psychology—Open areas of specialization
Starting Date: Fall 2026

Responsibilities
Primary teaching responsibilities will be teaching seven courses (3-3-1) in the academic year including Introduction to Psychology; Research Methods sequence courses; and some combination of Health Psychology; Counseling Psychology; Theories of Personality; Abnormal Psychology; and Social Psychology; courses in the general education curriculum, and courses in individual areas of specialization. The successful candidate will also mentor student research projects, advise program majors and minors, and engage in scholarship and service appropriate to the liberal arts setting.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Psychology, ABD acceptable, prior successful college-level teaching experience in psychology preferred, the ability to engage undergraduates in research, academic advising, and practice activities and the promise of continued scholarly activity.
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Nine-month, contract; tenure track.
