Assistant Professor, School Psychology (Tenure-Track)
The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy University is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in School Psychology. The Master of Science Program in School Psychology is a NASP approved, nationally accredited school psychology program located on the Dobbs Ferry campus in Westchester County, just north of New York City.
Applicants with a doctoral degree in School Psychology are preferred, with active engagement in the profession of School Psychology and a record of excellent teaching experience. The ideal candidate will also have two or more years of field experience as a School Psychologist. Credentialing (either certification or licensure) as a School Psychologist is required. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in School Psychology, advising and mentoring students, assisting with preparation of accreditation renewal materials, and serving on school and college committees. Staying current on NASP standards, maintaining currency in the field, and developing the skills required to utilize our Learning Management System, Blackboard, is expected.
