Job Summary

The Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and master's level and a commitment to an active research program. Applicants whose work is compatible with existing research areas in the department are of particular interest, but those whose work can broaden the research scope of the department will also be considered. The usual teaching load is three courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, maintain an active research program, and provide some service to the department and university. Required Qualifications

• PhD in Mathematics
• Some teaching experience is also required
• Evidence of commitment to an active research program.
