"Assistant Professor; YIMA General Internal Medicine"

The Yale School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Section of General Medicine. This will be in a clinical practice at Yale Internal Medicine Associates, a patient-centered medical home academic adult primary care faculty practice. Primary responsibilities are management of a primary care panel of patients, conducting in-person clinic session as well as telehealth sessions, as well as all administrative work associated with the clinical practice. Teaching responsibilities include teaching of medical students and residents in the ambulatory practice setting. Up to 4 weeks of inpatient attending on a resident team may be required. Participation in the care of YIMA on-call coverage in rotation as well as attendance at regular meetings of the YIMA clinical team and participation in projects to improve quality of care. Participation in the academic activities of the Section of General Internal Medicine. Opportunities exist for other educational and scholarly work depending on the interest of the faculty member.
