The UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation (LCI) would like to hire a Project Policy Analyst 3 / Assistant Project Manager and Staff Researcher to support research projects under its Water, Energy and Urban Greening programs.

Research projects under these initiatives typically examine the impacts of policies and programs aimed to advance the just energy transition, human right to water and create equitable access to environmentally sustainable public spaces. This specific position will primarily support LCI's LA100 Equity Strategies: Energy Affordability and Policy Solutions Analysis, collaborate with the LCI Human Right to Water Solutions Lab, and support community-led research for equitable public green spaces.

The position may also involve work under other LCI programs, which include Environmental Equity, Transportation, and Climate Change.

The responsibilities will include conducting quantitative research that involves statistical and geospatial analysis; carrying out qualitative research that involves surveying, interviewing, and facilitating focus groups; supervising graduate student researchers; writing technical reports and other deliverables involving a high level of expertise and knowledge; presenting findings to community stakeholders and government officials; and preparing funding proposals.
