Job Description

Assistant Teaching Professor in Emerging Technology in Business and Design is a full-time on-campus faculty position focused on teaching and service. This position will teach courses including, but not limited to: design thinking, design principles, digital art tools, senior projects, interaction design/development, and related emerging technology courses; developing curricula; providing service to the University; advising students; facilitating graduate/undergraduate interdisciplinary research projects; leading client-based projects; helping lead co-curricular activities and student organizations.

The Department of Emerging Technology in Business and Design is one of six academic units within the College of Creative Arts. The CCA houses diverse programs in both the traditional and emerging arts and prioritizes strong professional preparation for students’ future creative careers.

The University is a medium-sized institution that has its main campus in Oxford, OH. Minimum Qualifications:

Terminal degree (e.g., M.F.A. or Ph.D.) in a related discipline required by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor.
