St. Catherine University invites application for a twelve (12) month administrative faculty assignment, appointed for a three-year academic term focusing on Data, Budget, and Operations for our School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership. Upon conclusion of the assignment, the course release will end and the faculty member's teaching load will return to the standard instructional expectation. This appointment may be renewed for a second term.
The Associate Dean for Data, Budget & Operations works at the direction of the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership. This position focuses on providing operational support to the School and delivering data to the Dean that informs decisions in the best interest of the School, its students, staff, and faculty. Planning activities related to course scheduling and budget development are also part of the role.
Responsibilities Include:
- Teach courses in an academic department, discipline, or core curriculum
- Participate in departmental and school activities
- Engage in scholarly activities, and (for TT faculty) scholarship
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting to guide school-wide decisions
- Scheduling support across the school for efficiency and effectiveness
- Support assessment, accreditation, and institutional reporting
- Partner with the Dean on annual budget planning and financial management
- Provide financial modeling for strategic planning and resource allocation
- Liaise with key offices: Finance, Institutional Advancement, and Academic Affairs
- Drive operational initiatives aligned with the School and University priorities

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Three years of faculty experience
- One year of administrative/leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability developing and monitoring budgets
- Experience with program assessment and evaluation
- Experience with project management
- Understanding of accreditation processes
- Commitment to DEIB priorities for all students, staff, and faculty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to build and work with data dashboards
- Market analysis experience
- 5 years faculty experience
- 3 years administrative/leadership experience
Compensation: This is a 12-month administrative faculty assignment, appointed for a three-year academic term, compensated at the faculty member's current base rate. The assignment includes a 50% course release and a $3,000 annual stipend. Upon conclusion of the assignment, the course release will end and the faculty member's teaching load will return to the standard instructional expectation. This appointment may be renewed for a second term.
