The Associate Director of Curricular Enrichment serves as a senior member of the McNulty Leadership Program's Curriculum Enrichment & Extensions team, providing academic and operational leadership for Wharton's foundational leadership curriculum. This position is responsible for the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of MGMT 6100: Foundations of Teamwork and Leadership for both the full-time MBA and WEMBA programs and contributes to curricular innovation and integration within the undergraduate leadership curriculum.

Job Description

The Associate Director of Curricular Enrichment serves as a senior member of the McNulty Leadership Program's Curriculum Enrichment & Extensions team, providing academic and operational leadership for Wharton's foundational leadership curriculum. This position is responsible for the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of MGMT 6100: Foundations of Teamwork and Leadership for both the full-time MBA and WEMBA programs and contributes to curricular innovation and integration within the undergraduate leadership curriculum.

The Associate Director leads the two major annual deliveries of MGMT 6100-serving approximately 300 WEMBA students each spring and 900 full-time MBA students each August-providing faculty partnership, simulation design coordination, academic assessment, and cross-unit planning. During the fall semester, the Associate Director advances undergraduate curricular enrichment by cultivating and stewarding client-project partnerships for WH1010 and MGMT 4020, supporting faculty in the WH1010 Innovation Tournament, and integrating insights from MBA/WEMBA leadership programming to inform undergraduate curriculum design.

Working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the Associate Director represents the McNulty Leadership Program in planning with faculty, program offices, academic departments, and external partners, exercising significant independent judgment while managing complex curricular coordination cycles across three degree programs. The role requires the ability to thrive in high-pressure periods and manage time-sensitive workflows with calm, solutions-oriented professionalism; to work diplomatically and discreetly with diverse and high-profile stakeholders; and to anticipate needs while navigating sensitive workplace dynamics to maintain productive and trusted relationships. The Associate Director contributes to assessment processes that strengthen leadership learning outcomes and serves as a full member of the McNulty Leadership Program team, supporting strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment while managing complex, multi-faceted projects or operational processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex workflows across multiple stakeholders or programs with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities with calm, solutions-oriented professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work diplomatically and discreetly with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, navigate sensitive workplace dynamics, and build productive, trusted relationships.
  • Experience contributing to assessment, evaluation, or continuous improvement processes.
  • Contributes as an engaged team member and supports broader strategic initiatives as needed.

Pay Range

$66,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annual Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
