$ 98,632 to $ 110,443 per annum (HEO7)

Plus 17% employer superannuation

About the role

Working closely with the Curriculum and Academic Management team, the Advisor (Digital Curriculum) will have responsibility for a range of activities underpinning academic curriculum management across all Schools at UNE. This includes review of proposals included in committee meeting papers, providing advice on the development of new curriculum items at School level, ensuring compliance of curriculum items with quality assurance mechanisms and liaison with business areas to achieve implementation and publication. The role will build effective working relationships with academic and professional staff across the University, providing sound policy and procedural advice and working collaboratively in the teaching and learning space. The role will also complete work in multiple systems in order to facilitate publication and student enrolment processes. The Digital Curriculum Team operates under team-based working practices and report to the Digital Curriculum Manager and operates under their general to broad direction.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A strong understanding of curriculum design and the ability to interpret complex course information through the lens of established educational policies and regulatory frameworks. You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging collaboratively and influentially with stakeholders at all levels. An outstanding attention to detail will be central to your approach, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in tasks. We are looking for familiarity with diverse enterprise-level systems and platforms, such as those used for student administration, relationship management, and course design, or a readiness to quickly learn new technologies. Your practical knowledge of policy and legislation relevant to the higher education sector will be important, complemented by a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving and managing priorities. Additionally, you will have experience in reviewing documents and providing thoughtful, constructive feedback.
