Associate Lecturer (Academic Level A) - Occupational Therapy
- Full‑time, ongoing Academic Level A position.
- Based at Campbelltown campus with flexible working options.
- Salary: $95,248 – $115,074 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Associate Lecturer to join our Occupational Therapy team within the School of Health Sciences. They will have responsibilities across undergraduate teaching, research and service. You will bring expertise in one or more of the relevant areas of occupational therapy practice as listed below:
- Disability across the lifespan
- Mental health
- Rehabilitation and aged care
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging, evidence-based, high-quality teaching to undergraduate students
- Contribute to the curriculum and subject coordination
- Undertake and contribute to research and publications in high quality journals
- Develop internal and external relationships to serve the university and community
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement is required for this role.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver high‑quality teaching using contemporary and evidence‑based pedagogies.
- Contribute to curriculum design, review, and improvement across Occupational Therapy programs.
- Develop a research trajectory that leads to outputs, partnerships, and future funding.
- Engage effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- Participate actively in School, Faculty and University initiatives.

About You
- A PhD in a field relevant to Occupational Therapy, or be working toward completion of a PhD, along with recognised Occupational Therapy qualifications and AHPRA registration.
- Ability to contribute to teaching in areas relevant to occupational therapy such as disability, mental health, aged care, and/or rehabilitation
- Teaching experience in tertiary and/or practice settings
- A developing research profile with potential to supervise honours and HDR students
- Strong communications skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
