Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. , Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.

Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care settings in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)”. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations, and inpatient units at CHOP, CHOP’s new satellite hospital, and a behavioral health hospital. Selected candidates with expertise in epidemiology will have clinical responsibilities aligned with the field.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include focusing on adolescent or young adult health research and/or epidemiology in areas such as parent-teen relationships and health, eating disorders, STI and HIV care/prevention, sexual/gender minority youth, substance use, health disparities, and/or medical education. Opportunities for collaborative clinical research are available related to education, continuous quality improvement, health services, minority health and disparities, resiliency, STIs/HIV, pregnancy prevention, smoking, substance use, gender, eating disorders, weight regulation, depression, and suicide. Leadership positions in these areas may also be available. We are seeking candidates with a strong record of clinical research productivity and scholarship demonstrating a national reputation.
