The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of surgical pathology with interest in head and neck and endocrine pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. or equivalent degree. Applicants must also be certified by the American Board of Pathology, AP-only or AP/CP.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include participation in the Surgical Pathology service with coverage of Head and Neck and Endocrine Pathology services at Penn Medicine including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital and its affiliates, general frozen section service, autopsy service and night/weekend call. Coverage of additional pathology subspecialties will be considered. The main practice site will be Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
