Associate Research Scientist
The Theoretical High-Energy Astrophysics (THEA) group at the Columbia University invites applications for a position as Associate Research Scientist. The initial appointment is for one year, with anticipated renewal for up to a total of three years. The expected start date is on or around September 1, 2025. The successful candidate will conduct independent and collaborative research under the guidance of Professors Andrei Beloborodov, Kishalay De, Yuri Levin, Brian Metzger and Lorenzo Sironi. Candidates must hold a PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or related field, by the date of the appointment, and will be expected to work well independently and cooperatively with a team.
