The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking cardiologists with training in Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant and Mechanical Assist Devices.

Faculty rank is commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions

  • Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at UCMC play key roles in ambulatory and hospital-based care, actively contribute to education and training, and lead initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety, and research.
  • Additional duties include assisting with the development of a heart-failure/transplant teaching rotation for cardiology fellows and working closely with our transplant surgeons in the further development of these programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Completion of 1 year fellowship in Heart Failure Transplant or equivalent training experience.
  • Ohio State Medical License and DEA License.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
