Position Description

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Division is dedicated to deliver exceptional, comprehensive, and holistic medical care. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential Functions

• Provide inpatient coverage for Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital.
  • 28-35 adult patients daily w/APRN support available
  • Call 1 to 2 weekends/month with call split among other adult providers
  • 72 bed facility with 130 admissions/month
  • Patient Diagnosis: 20% Stroke, 15% Trauma, 5-10% Spinal, and mix of Ortho, Debility
• Train and Supervise PM&R Residents.
• Optional VA appointment/clinic time.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R or in the process of becoming Board Eligible at the completion of training.
• Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
