RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide athletic training/sports medicine services to NCAA student-athletes including injury and illness prevention and wellness promotion, examination, assessment and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, therapeutic intervention, healthcare administration and professional responsibility. Provide services for practices and competitions, travel with sport teams and document services provided. This position will work directly with football and softball.
RANK & SALARY: $40,500 - $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board Certified (BOC) Athletic Trainer;
- Eligible for State of Illinois athletic training licensure;
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Master's Degree in Athletic Training;
- BLS CPR/AED Certification or eligible;
- Valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Athletic Training;
- Previous experience working as an athletic trainer in intercollegiate athletics.
*For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.*
