Audiology Aide
Reporting to the Audiology Clinic Manager, the Audiology Aide performs developmentally appropriate behavioral management of children for valid test results. Organizes appointments, scheduling, intake, follow-up, and liaison with referring physicians, referring agencies and educational programs. Assumes responsibility for financial information pertaining to each patient including authorization and billing, maintains monthly revenue and statistical reports, and maintains general office function.
Additionally, this position provides clerical support to the Audiology Department. This position functions independently in carrying out standard and complex office procedures as well as interacting with other hospital departments and clinics, physician offices, providers, and patients/families. This position will serve as a primary contact between hospital employees, vendors, managers, and administration.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $32.86 - $41.01 (Hourly Rate).
