Biology Lecturer - Anatomy and Physiology, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Faculty position August 2025-May 2026)
The Department of Biology at Lipscomb University is seeking applicants for full-time, temporary-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher beginning August 2025. The position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Human Anatomy & Physiology for our pre-nursing students. This course is a two-semester sequence involving lecture and laboratory sections for nursing majors. Normal full-time teaching load is 30 hours per 10-month, academic year. Qualified candidates should have strong experience in teaching human anatomy and physiology with supporting degrees. The labs include cadaver dissection. Additional requirements include strong mentoring skills as well as a passion for Christian education. Interpersonal skills in communication and the ability to work in a team-based educational approach are required.
