As a member of the team, you will act as an ambassador for the University of Sheffield, providing a highly visible presence and service around campus and in the control room. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the safety of university students, staff, visitors and property. Responding to incidents and emergencies in line with University Safety and Security Procedures, you will demonstrate careful judgement, excellent customer service and a high level of integrity.

Our service increasingly relies on IT based systems; we need a motivated individual to help us develop these systems and seek innovative solutions for the future. We will provide you with opportunities for personal development through change projects making a difference to Service delivery.

You will consistently demonstrate the University’s core values of openness and inclusiveness and help to drive continuous improvement in a challenging environment. Although you will have demonstrable experience of working in a customer facing role, we will provide you with a comprehensive induction and an on-the-job training programme.
