"Campus Security Officer"

Otterbein University is seeking Campus Security Officers who are responsible for the safety and security of persons and property on campus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Sergeant/Deputy Chief.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary duties include enforcing University judicial rules and regulations, investigating violations, patrolling on foot or in vehicles, operating and maintaining safety equipment, demonstrating competency in communication, and more. Officers may work overtime, change shifts, and interact with local law enforcement.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, pass a background investigation, possess a valid Ohio driver's license, and have basic mathematical and reasoning skills. Preferred: 1-3 years of security experience.

Physical demands include good physical and mental condition, ability to drag or carry individuals, stand or sit for long periods, and work in various environments.
