Grade 5: £32,108 - £37,338 p.a.
We are seeking an experienced and service-orientated Casework Officer to join the friendly and supportive student casework team which supports the Proctors and the Assessor, senior members and trustees of the University, in managing the University’s processes for student casework, such as academic appeals, complaints and student disciplinary matters. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in one or more of our areas of student casework, with a particular focus on academic misconduct in the first instance, as well as other areas of work managed by the Proctors’ Office.
The appointment is offered on a permanent basis. Hybrid working arrangements will be considered.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- experience in casework and high-level administrative support work, preferably in a higher education setting;
- highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to a broad range of stakeholders;
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience of prioritising competing tasks and objectives, managing time and resources appropriately, and responding flexibly to changing circumstances;
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships and engage with people at all levels within the organisation;
- ability to work successfully within a team as well as taking ownership of allocated tasks, to deliver high quality work.
