Center for Women's Mood Disorders - Clinical Assistant Professor
The Center for Women's Mood Disorders is seeking a licensed clinical psychologist at the Assistant Professor rank with clinical expertise in evidence-based treatment of perinatal mental health conditions and supporting those undergoing fertility treatment. This full-time position offers the opportunity to join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team committed to advancing the science and clinical care of perinatal mental health.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of training and experience in evidence-based treatments for perinatal mood disorders and associated mental illnesses and working as part of a large, multidisciplinary treatment team. We particularly welcome candidates with expertise in third-wave behavior therapies, interventions for stress and anxiety associated with infertility treatment, and strategies for managing severe mental illness during and after pregnancy, including suicidality and trauma symptoms.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Outpatient diagnostic evaluation of fertility and perinatal patients.
- Evidence-based psychotherapy for fertility and perinatal patients with mood and anxiety disorders.
- Teaching activities will include training and supervising psychology interns, psychiatry medical residents, and clinical fellows.
- Contributing to scholarship within the Center, including serving as a study clinician on clinical trials, writing original manuscripts and chapters describing
