Clinical Mental Health Counseling, RT - Lecturer, Online
The University of Oklahoma is seeking applications for a Renewable Term Lecturer in its Clinical Mental Health Counseling Online program, beginning Fall 2024. This full-time faculty position is in the Department of Human Relations, located in Norman, Oklahoma.
The program promotes excellence in counseling through evidence-based clinical training, democratic values, and advocacy. Responsibilities include teaching master's-level counseling courses online, advising students, and potentially assisting with accreditation activities.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Counseling or Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program, current state licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LPC), and a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include online teaching experience and membership in a counseling organization.
Teaching Expectations: Three courses per semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) via Canvas, with possible minimal travel for residencies or meetings.
