Job Title

The individual will possess a valid commercial pilot certificate and the flight instructor certificate for airplane single engine land with instrument airplane. The candidate will be employed by the college on a part-time basis with up to 28 hours per week of flight instruction given. The candidate will provide flight instruction for the issuance or the private, commercial and CFI certificates and airplane instrument rating commensurate with their instructor privileges.

Required Qualifications

The candidate will possess both the commercial pilot airplane certificate and CFI certificate for airplane single engine land with instrument airplane and a minimum of 225 hours of flight experience. The Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred. Experience providing instruction in a Part 141 flight program and two years of CFI experience is also preferred.

All new employees must provide copies of their background clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, and Act 114 FBI Fingerprint for the PA Dept of Education) when hired.
