"Certified Phlebotomy Tech 1- Corelab Irvine- FT Day Shift"

The phlebotomist performs pre-analytic phases of clinical specimen collection and preparation primarily in an in-patient setting but may be requested to work in other areas of the lab as needed.

Required Qualifications: Technical knowledge of lab procedures, functions and processes gained through education, experience or a combination of the two; Strong written and verbal communication skills; State of California Phlebotomy License (Certified Phlebotomy Tech I); Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties; Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job; Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of phlebotomy experience or completion of UCI phlebotomy program.
