Job Title: Child Development Center Master Teacher* (3 positions) - School of Language Arts and Education - Modesto Junior College

Salary Range / Other: $4,814 to $6,140 per month- Range 30 (2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule). Appointments are hired at the first step of the range. The second step is paid after the first year of satisfactory service with subsequent steps annually thereafter to a maximum sixth step. Workplace: Modesto Junior College; Modesto, CA. 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Evening and weekend hours may be required). *Categorically Funded position (Continued employment in this position is dependent upon funding)*

Job Description

DEFINITION Under general supervision, coordinates and directs the care and instruction of infants, toddlers and preschool children in a child development center environment; instructs children in social, behavioral, cognitive and language development skills; plans, organizes and conducts instructional and training programs; coordinates services to aide parents in developing child rearing skills; and performs related work as assigned.
