Position Summary
The CLEAR Aide assists with educational programs and life skills training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the College Learning Experiences, Activities, and Resources (CLEAR) program. This position reports to Manager Community Programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 6 months experience working with individuals with varying levels of disability.
Position details include but are not limited to:
- Classroom Support & Setup Assist the instructor in classroom activities as directed. Assist in arranging classroom back to its original set-up at the completion of each class.
- Student Observation & Safety Observe students for any behavioral or health concerns and alert the instructor immediately.
- Student Navigation & Campus Independence Provide necessary support for students in the CLEAR program to navigate the campus as independently as possible.
- Role Modeling & Student Acclimation Act as a role model for students in the classroom and in social situations. Assist students with activities to become comfortable and acclimated with the program routine and campus life.

- Other duties as assigned: Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be updated at any time at the discretion of management.
