Clinical Assistant Professor
Position Summary
The School of Computing at the University of Georgia invites applications for one clinical assistant professor position starting August 2026. This is a full-time 9-month non-tenure-track position. The position will involve teaching with other parts being a combination of corporate outreach, and/or program coordination, and/or research (with emphasis on applied and/or pedagogy related scholarship).

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Additional Requirements: The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years professional experience in the field that enables them to support student career preparation through connections with corporate partners/internships and/or career-development curricula. A candidate with an MS degree but a significantly longer record of professional work and accomplishments may be considered. Candidates without a terminal degree must document exceptional accomplishments in their respective field and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: The candidate should show a commitment to excellence in teaching.
