Clinical Assistant Professor, Dermatology, East Bay

The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Dermatologist to join our team as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator line. This full-time, non-tenure-eligible position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive dermatologic care while contributing to medical education in a dynamic academic environment.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will practice primarily at Stanford General Dermatology Clinic in Emeryville, with potential clinical presence at other East Bay sites including Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, and San Pablo. This position incorporates innovative care delivery models, including virtual visits and asynchronous care platforms, allowing for flexible and comprehensive patient management.

Clinical Responsibilities

The role encompasses primarily outpatient dermatologic care across multiple East Bay locations, with an emphasis on building strong community connections. The position includes a modern component of telemedicine and digital health initiatives, reflecting Stanford's commitment to accessible, cutting-edge patient care. Academic and Teaching Expectations

The successful candidate will participate in departmental educational initiatives as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected base pay range: $232,000-$244,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
